"Notre chambre n’était pas propre, pas grand chose à proximité. On a pas osé manger a l’hôtel au vu de l´état de notre chambre. Le personnel est sympathique, comme tous les indonésiens. La piscine est gelée, rien n’est tenu en état. Déplorable. A éviter. "

"We were disappointed with this hotel, although that may also be coloured by the fact we didn’t like Solo very much. When we first got in the room, it was very musty smelling (which is being generous about its smell). The room was very basic (which is fine) but there was no place at all to hang out outside despite having a big garden space. The garden is all plants and water features, no tables. The location was convenient to the train station but not really to “downtown”. Walking in Solo is not...

"The good: Lovely staff who are always willing to assist. The friendly greetings each time we walked past the reception desk made us smile. Comfortable room. The bad: Food at the restaurant not great for the price. The ugly: Room had quite a bit of wear and tear. The smell of other guests smoking nearby was really strong and unpleasant. Noisy guests kept us awake over a couple of nights."

"We kept having to ask for towels, bathroom mats, and toilet paper. Cleaning was average. With a little more effort the facilities could be kept clean."

"Overall oke banget untuk hotel budget. Letak cukup strategis. Pelayanan bagus dan cepat. Hanya pembuangan wastafel di kamar kami agak seret sehingga air lama turunnya. Parkiran kecil namun ada layanan valet gratis. Dinding lumayan tipis sehingga orang ngobrol di luar kamar terdengar jelas."

"Saya menginap di Hotel Bintang Solo dalam acara Wisuda di UNS, kondisi hotel kurang terawat, kelihatan sudah lama, tempat tidur, kasur, sprei kurang bersih, shower seadanya air muncrat kemana2 walaupun untuk air lumayan bersih, handuk sangat kumal terpaksa dipakai karena tidak bawa serep..nilai lebihnya ada pada lokasinya, sangat dekat dengan kampus sehingga tidak terburu2 untuk mendatangi acara ..."
