"Nice older hotel with charm. Staff really helpful and service minded. Rooms have different standards, some are more modern but others are a bit faded. we got a nice room with more modern bathroom. Functional and good quality inventory. Restaurant was good, staff offered alternatives for food allergy reasons. Dinner was great. Nice nature surrounding the hotel. Would consider to come back."

Although, it still didn't start and we didn't enjoy it, we would love to stop again and wonder in the forests eating berries. "Hadde et greit opphold. Hotellet bærer preg av dårlig vedlikehold og mangler litt på modernisering. Vegger og tak er betongkonstruksjon, men det er likevel lytt inn til naborom og opp til et bråkete aktivitetsrom. Sengene bar også preg av alderen, med knakende tresenger og madrass fra 80-tallet. Rengjøringen var ok, men håndklær ble ikke byttet til dag 2. Valdres Høyfjellshotell ligger i nydelige omgivelser, men veiene inn dit er forferdelige. Vi ble tatt imot av en hyggelig betjening....
