"We booked the family room and it was spacious and nicely decorated, the only negative was that it felt very cold in the bathroom area. Mary was very attentive and helped us checking in and taking care of all our requests. It is a beautiful historic property and I would definitely recommend it to others traveling and visiting students at Harlaxton Manor."

"Never again! When I arrived they had no record of my booking, even though I showed them the booking confirmation. After almost an hour they agreed to give me a room. When we were in the room it was freezing, it was -2 in the room, we tried the heating but it didn’t work. Asked reception to move us but they said they didn’t have any other rooms made up. We left at 6am because we couldn’t stand the cold."

"Lovely room, really nice bathroom fit out. Excellent quality tea, coffee, orange juice etc in the room. Nice variety of self serve breakfast to get when you want. Room was quite loud above the pub until it closed at 11 at night. Overall lovely stay and great value. "
