"we just stayed for one night but this place was exactly what we needed. functional & they’ve thought of everything. it’s an older style motel, but they don’t pretend to be anything else. very comfy bed, aircon was strong, shower head was powerful. we arrived quite late and did late check in. we had some confusion (which was on us) about rooms, and the owner/worker (i think his name was Jamie) answered the phone out of working hours and quickly, easily, and politely help us solve the issue. would stay here again! "

"It was a joy pure old school service and hospitality from the moment we arrived I have disabilities and special dietary needs we noticed there was a fridge but no microwave so I asked at the office and the reply was no problem would you like a toaster and plates and cutlery? Ten minutes later an employee knocked on the door and voila everything they promised and later my wife who was seeing the river murray for the first time went for a walk I sat in the cafe watching through the glass wall and enjoyed a cold adult beverage and chatted with the manager at first glance this is an older property but don't drive past they do it right"

"Fast, easy checkin with friendly staff, the newly refurbished rooms were very clean and comfortable! Even though the bathrooms are shared, they were absolutely spotless, spacious and had shampoo etc. Awesome second floor shared balcony just for guests, with two tables up there, great view over Murray St Angaston. We also had dinner in the pub downstairs, which was absolutely delicious! Also being a pub on a Friday night, there was no noise in the bedrooms upstairs whatsoever - highly recommended!"

"Was a bit of a mix up with our booking - we saw pet friendly on their website but turned out the room we had booked wasn’t however it was all good in the end. Lovely “villa” and site. We loved it and would defo be back "
