"I got a very friendly, genuine welcome immediately upon arrival. What's great is that we got a room upgrade. The space was perfect but what's really perfect is the comfort of the bed, pillows and sheets. After a tiring day, this is what you want the most. Our unit felt really safe to stay in. It was quiet and peaceful. Really comfortable inside with the sofa even as you watch tv. The shower was awesome. I would stay again in Motel six and recommend it too. "

"For the price this place is basic. You are paying 5 star prices and getting 3 star standard. Basic. Lamps in bedroom didn’t work. It was just cheap, cold no view not comfortable in the apartment. "Great place to stay. Room was very spacious (esp. after dogbox in Auckland) clean and tidy. OK, it is not new, but everything was in working order and full stove, fridge and microwave, plus plenty of utensils, made cooking easy. They also have a small, but adequate, gym on site. We had to hole up here during Cyclone Gabrielle and it was fine for the three nights we stayed. Staff and owners were very helpful and chatty. Bonus was being able to watch T20 Womens World Cup on TV!"
