But, the soup wasn't what i expected from a veg soup, totally brilliant. This is not the first we have stayed at Appleby Park and it wont be the last."

"My first experience of Holiday Inn Express and I was so impressed. Warm welcome, a nice reception and lobby area with a bar. My room was clean and very comfortable with little touches that you don't get in similar price range hotels e.g tissues, phone. Included breakfast was very good. Definitely recommended "

"Was warmly welcomed given room and paid no problems room was on ground floor no45 unfortunately the bar area was quite close and very noisy due to a builders Christmas party in full swing doing karaoke I persevered for an hour as I needed sleep I asked if I could move to another room and was instantly moved upstairs to a quiet room which was perfect So thanks for been so helpful great nights sleep good breakfast so after a iffy start it was a great stay thanks "

"I use the hotel whenever I’m travelling north or south as a half way. Usually only arrive and go to sleep. Ive not eaten there yet so can’t comment on the food. Hotel is clean, WiFi decent and bed comfortable. I don’t really use much else. Fits the bill for me and my needs. "
