"Convenient place. Clean,spacious, polite staff, parking included, breakfast was great and various food options also on site."

"I stayed for the whole week, and everything was alright. The staff was just wonderful, smiling and always ready to help. The location is very good, although the frequent road next to the hotel is a bit noisy. I would suggest serving some vegetables, ham and cheese for breakfast. The English breakfast is good, but I would prefer not to have the same breakfast each day."

"Rooms at the front can be quite noisy with road traffic when its warm and you needvto open windows as no air con. Gym and spa are spacious and usesble. Breakfast is substantial and good food in the bar. Excellent location to walk or ride to explore clumver parklands."

"Excellent place to stay, helpful staff, comfortable room and a free continental breakfast, unfortunately the restaurant was no longer open Which was a bit of a shame hopefully it gets back up and running, the park directly opposite was brilliant was nice for a stroll along the water and a evening run along the canal, hotel was great value for money and Retford town was quite pleasant, would stay again."

"I found my stay at The Elms to be very pleasant and convenient. I stayed in The Stables just around the corner from the main hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. There were plenty of teas and coffees. The shower was decent. I enjoyed a good night's sleep. I also had dinner at the Indian Restaurant within the hotel. If I am in the area again, I will have no hesitation in staying there again"
