"This hotel was amazing and had a fully functional high quality restaurant. The views of surrounding snow capped mountains were amazing. The only problem was that the entire Skardu town had wifi problems and electricity shortages. Hotel had generators to cope with the situation. The hotel said that local government is trying to solve it. The only workable sim card for phone was S-com but even that was on and off depending on the terrain. So be wary of that. Of course it was not hotels fault....

"Surprisingly it was GREAT !!! Very friendly people thru out. A good personality OWNER. Watches things himself to make sure customers are well taken care of. Property is clean. Good garden to enjoy a scenic view in the sun. May be a little far from the city center, but an excellent place for vacations in Skardu and around. Food is unbelievable. All things tasted like any 3-4 star hotels in big cities. Service is top notch too. All thumbs up !! "

"A nice hotel. But considering the run-down room, facilities, and amenities, it might be slightly overpriced. The room is clean but a bit small. The location on the map (shown in not Expedia) is wrong. We thought this hotel is relatively close to the center of Skardu, but actually it is rather close to the airport. Public transportation is not easily available between the hotel and the city center. So the only way is a hotel car (1500Rs round trip). Staff is polite and friendly. Blackout...

"I didn’t stay at this hotel because it was very dirty. Pictures are not accurate. I walked out after seeing two rooms. Paint was coming out from the walls, place was stinking, bed sheets had bugs in it. First they couldn’t find my reservation. I had to struggle with the owner about that.
