"Everything at this property went beyond my expectations. Absolutely amazing place and staff. Surendra is an outstanding manager and a host. He showed me around the property, and presented several rooms to choose to stay in. Rooms are very tasteful and elegant. Dinner was amazing - I had Lal Maas washed with a few glasses of Sula Shiraz. You can also unwind with a drink by the bonfire. They also have a stable and organise horse-riding trips - if only I had more time!! I cannot wait to be back!! "

"THE HOTEL WAS FILTHY DIRTY. WE WERE SHOWN 4 BEDROOMS AND HOTEL WAS EMPTY THERE WAS NO HOT WATER THEY BOILED WATER AND GAVE US IN BUCKETS. "The property claims to be a haveli, but the old haveli is not used much for the average traveler as there is a common living area adjoining four bedrooms. So, most of the “ normal” rooms are in brand new buildings that are not havelis. The grounds are lovely and peaceful. The waiter in the restaurant improved dramatically with a small amount of guidance from one morning to the next. The front desk man who “arranged” our guided tour of havelis in Nawalgarh and Mandawa charged us a rather high...
