"Amal is a good location for exploring the lakes. There a couple of ok places to eat out, but not as many as I'd have liked. Definitely a base rather than a location. Hotel is in an older building and decorated sympathetically. Our room had plenty of space, but no tea or coffee making facilities."

I understand that it's a camping and bathrooms are outside and shared, but at least having water in the kitchen would be a nice (or rather obvious) touch.
