"Our room wasn’t clean and the door opened into the hallway….easy to break in and remove the chain. There was no way to barricade yourself in!! The bar next door was so loud. Live music and people talking loud until 5:30 am. It was miserable. The beds were hard but not terrible. There was rodent feces on surfaces. The air conditioning worked and there was a fridge. They did provide one bottle of water per day. "

"Quite a way out of main Lopburi but quiet. Felt like were the only people in the place. Staff are super helpful though give plenty of time to check in and out as on the out they check your rooms. Little English is spoken on Lopburi so expect to use Thai and google translate. Staff at the Hotel are not English speakers. Suited our needs for a short teo day stay. "

"We stayed at the Lopburi Residence hotel near the bus station. This is the one shown in the map on the booking. This hotel is being completely renovated. The staff are exceptional. The location is good for getting in to Old Town by songtheaw. We shall certainly stay again. We were the first guest to stay in our room since it was renovated. "Chose this hotel because of swimming pool. It was 30 mins away from train station , don’t bank on finding a taxi as not really geared up for tourists. Luckily a man in shop called someone who took us to the hotel. We also walked into the town and it took 30 minutes. No poolside chairs for swimming pool so we borrowed a couple from the restaurant which was empty. Got shouted at for doing this and not sure why this was a problem. Hotel a bit tired but overall good value for the money."

Although I booked less 2 hours before I arrived, they still didnt have any record of my booking. "A really comfortable boutique style hotel, and good location in terms of access. Great value for the money, and family run. We will certainly be coming back. Only thing missing are restaurant facilities. "

"The reason I booked this resort because it is river view. It has a restaurant that is next to the river but what you can order is only fried rice, congee and fried egg or omelette. The room and the bathroom looked like nobody did her job before the next guest check in. The pillows are too high and hard so it was impossible for us to sleep on the pillows.
