"Stayed with our 3 chn in Aug for a week. Rooms were spotless, cleaned every day. Air con was great but didn't need it all the time. Even though the hotel itself doesn't have a pool we had the use of the local Olympic sized swimming pool which was lovely and which we had almost to ourselves. "This was a lovely experience, if you like hotel chains do not go here, but if you want something that is what i believe to be a traditional family run spanish hotel, it is very quaint. The owners only speak spanish but with google translate they were very helpful. I think the description on the hotels.com website is a bit inaccurate, as there is a communal pool in the village but not at the hotel, and no hot tub as far as i know. "Lovely quiet location with a rustic feel. Loved the enthusiasm of the family that own it and the details she gave of Carulla which had been in their family for centuries. Chance to chill by the pool which got sun for 90% of the day. It is 15 mins from any shops so make sure you stock up before as there is no restaurant anywhere nearby. kitchen stocked with everything you need and in the colder months plenty of wood for the fire. Imagine would be very cosy"

"Plenty of parking, reception very welcoming. We were fortunate in being upgraded to a Superior room and it was fabulous. Very comfortable, enjoyed drinks on the terrace to unwind after a long journey. Booked dinner in the restaurant and surprised that there was a menu as well as a la carte. Very good. Would stay here again when in the area."
