"Great location at base of mountains, right by entrance to cablecar to mountain top. Great for walkers . Restaurant menu possibly a little limited for British visitors but good snack options in bar area. Breakfast good- especially if you like wine with your croissants!"

"The Hotel Maria Manuela is great; nice rooms, and the Spa is excellent. Located at Benia de Onis, is a great option off the beaten path, surrounded by nature; the food at the restaurants across the Hotel is amazing. Do not leave without visiting the store next door to the hotel where they sell local cheese, iberico ham, bread and of course Cider. "

"What an amazing find up so high up in the mountains. Huge room with great views of the church and mountains. The set 3 course evening meal with water and a bottle of wine for 2 was great value at €30 each."

"The room is well decorated, but small - we had hard time to place our luggage during our stay. The breakfast is pretty good and worth the price. The location is another positive point. My only observation is that they turn off the AC at night. The week we were there in October the temperature at night was around 60°F (15°C) and we woke up at night sweating thinking the AC was broken, but when alerting the reception desk she said they had just turned it on. But I definitely stay there again. "

"Location was good, and the rooms were clean and comfortable enough, if a bit sterile. The staff was friendly. I booked this hotel over others in part because it said they had parking available. They really don’t. There is parking well off site, and it really isn’t much of a discounted rate from the regular parking garage (19 for their area, 24 for the public lot) . "The host (son of the owner, I think) was helpful in suggesting areas for photography. Charming courtyard. Did not have breakfast - wanted some real coffee! Great parking across the street."
