It's an older property and some of the fixtures/fittings in the bathroom are tired but on the plus side - shower pressure was good and everything was very clean and we had a great nights sleep. The resturant served tasty local food - very nicely prepared and presented. The staff were attentive and friendly - we would visit again if in the area."

"A fabulous little place, on our way back to the ferry at Santander, but in a remote corner of northern Spain. Around 15 miles off the beaten track and surrounded by gorgeous countryside but only 1.5 hours from the port. We received a warm welcome from our hostess, Karmah, who looked after our every need, supplying local information, as well as cooking us a splendid evening meal. Highly recommend to anyone visiting northern Spain. A proper little rural gem."

"The place and the landscape are great. The people are very friendly. I made my booking via hotels.com and got my confirmation, as I usually do. However when I came to the property I saw the emai message from them (which was sent few minutes before my arrival) that they are sorry and they have no place inspite my confirmation. Have to say, that reliability is a basics, and it never happened with my bookings on Hotels.com. although, they gave me the room after all (I suppose the different one, no...

"There was nothing to like. We had booked an evening meal but were told the restaurant was closed. We were on a cycling holiday and had no access to a car in order to find a restaurant after a hard days ride. We ended up at a supermarket buying bread and cheese at to top it all it was raining.The staff were unhelpful and offhand. Breakfast was nothing to shout home about with toast, dried croissants and old biscuits. The coffee which we had to wait for was horrible."
