"Staff and restaurant was great, hotel itself was fine. Not much around the area, we specifically booked this hotel because of the pool. We knew we would be travelling for 8 hours on a hot day by motorbike so wanted a hotel with a pool. Went to use the pool and it was "closed for the season" apparently closed on the 1st Sept... we were there on the 2nd.... might seem petty but that was the primary reason we booked the hotel... there is nothing noted about pool closure on Expedia or the hotel...

"Fin och fräsch lägenhet med två sovrum och två badrum samt balkong med utsikt mot havet. Nackdelen var dock att man var tvungen att stå för att kunna njuta av utsikten. Området var mkt fint, lämpligt även för barnfamiljer, flera restauranger i närheten, liten mataffär samt gym. Restaurangen ”La entrevista” rekommenderas. Många varierande stränder mellan Mar de Pulpi och Águilas. Bil är i praktiken ett måste. "

"Fomos muito bem recebido pela Sra. Sandra. Trata-se de uma casa centenária com uma linda vista, moveis de madeira lindos e de qualidade. Apesar de não haver café da manhã nos foi oferecido café e um delicioso bolo. A cidade é linda e o hotel fica numa área de muito silêncio. Com ruas estreitas típicas de uma cidade antiga é preciso estacionar o carro um pouco longe da propriedade. Mesmo assim, recomendamos muito. "

"Having planned a day of retail therapy in Lorca and Murcia, we decided to treat ourselves to a night away from decorating our home in Mojacar (98 wooden shutters to paint....***!). From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Steve and Deborah provided a welcoming drink followed by a delicious evening meal. We retired to a comfortable room and woke refreshed. "lovely hotel with mid 20th century décor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Stayed 2 nights on room only board so cannot comment on breakfast but had evening meal on outside terrace and found this to have a good choice at reasonable prices. There is a restaurant inside but as this is rated among the top in the Spanish eating guides it is probably expensive. Will stay again on future travels but the town of Vera although pleasant, is not very inspiring. Only handy for exploring...
