"As others have said. Sutomatic light in toilet is annoying during the night. When checking in, it asked for country of residence and Australia doesnt exist. So we said Austria. It worked! Good size room for this type of hotel. Big enough even for a second chair but there isn't one."

"Pleasant old style hotel right in the main square - good breakfast in a pleasant sunny room. Lots of places to eat. Access from the Hauptbahnhof is by tram - any tram goes to Hauptstrasse. If you are in Linz to see the town itself, stay here. "

"This is a wonderful mid-hotel with very comfy beds, indoor parking (for an extra fee), nice generic rooms with plenty of shelf space, and an adequate but plain breakfast buffet. "I arrived on Sunday, September 29. Neither my reservation with Expedia nor the hotel's site mentioned that the hotel front desk as well as the hotel is closed on Sunday. Luckily I received an email from the hotel a few days before my arrival that advised me of this and the fact that I had to access the key for my room at a lock box at the front door of the hotel using a code sent in the email and thus I was able to let myself into the hotel and my room.
