"Nice for a short stay. We booked a room with balcony as per images, but our balcony was completely boarded up with bamboo so we had no view. There is little soundproofing and you can hear next door, people moving above you and loads of noise from outside. Room was clean and simple. Most disapointing was the breakfast, the food was basic and looked like last nights dinner heated up. Recommend going 3 mins down the road to Thong Dong for breakfast instead. Cleaner tried to open our door at 10AM...

"I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is a family run hotel and they staff were so helpful. They let us in when we arrived past 1am in the morning. The room was clean and spacious with comfy beds and was nicely decorated. The following morning, the staff went through a map with us and offered suggestions for restaurants, coffee, places to see in Sa Pa and what walks to do. They also helped us book a tour and taxi. Felt really looked after during our stay and would love to stay here again. "

"I don't usually review hotels, but Sapa Village Hotel was exceptional and I thought it deserved a review. It's not in the most crowed area of hotels and shops, but we liked that. It was easy to walk to the lake, which is very beautiful and only 5-10 minutes from Sapa station, where you can get the cable car to Fansipan. We even walked to Cat Cat village from our hotel.
