"We stayed over two weeks. Daily breakfast excellent Very clean, helpful staff. However pool amenities and spa are additional and not open daily. Shower stall floor is very slippery with no handrails. "

On top of that, when we came back in the evening, there was no one to be found at reception for around an hour!!!!! So anyone could have walked in and around the hotel as they have no security as such, just...

"Ok, you have to visit this place!!! Its a renovated 1921 winery manor house on a hill in the country! Our warm and welcoming host, Antonio used a translation app to speak ti us. Because the property is in the middle of nowhere i asked about dunner, he then asked about our dietary requirements etc. when we arrived he said dinner would be st 8. Fair enough, when we came down at 8 he had an un-corked breathing bottle of his red wine , and a HUGE spread of Anti-pasto. Crusty fresh bread, 5 or so hot...

"This place is so beautiful and clean and peaceful. It is like a retreat. It is out of the city center near the zoo. It is sl clean and well maintained. The staff are so gracious kind and accommodating. They tolerated oir very poor Italian with grace and laughter. They couldn't do enough for us. I cannot say enough good things. The pool is beautiful. The turkish baths wonderful "

Note though, there are 80 steps to walk up with your luggage, that was difficult, but our host graciously helped us down on the way out!. "
