And would have loved there to be more restaurant around the place. But I choose the hotel because it’s close to the lift. Too bad I couldn’t ski at all. "This was a lovely little room, very comfortable. Not a lot open on Sunday in the town. No restaurants or cafes or even grocery store. If you want to eat on Sunday, you have to drive into chamonix or wait until the restaurant opens at 6:00 pm. Wish the breakfast was included. It looked delicious! "

"We requested Mountain View’s which were stunning and quieter than lower rooms. Spacious living and sleeping arrangement, even with our own Christmas tree. Comfortable beds and very clean. Maid service every other day. Great location tucked behind the main high street, shops and restaurants and 5/10 min walking distance to ski bus stops. Would happily return to Hotel Genepy."

"Recently renovated so no sign of 'tired carpets' or similar: everything immaculate. Possibly denuded of any real 'alpine' feel in the process though. Staff all very polite and helpful. My room had a hoid sized shower room (shiny floor as is so often the case - good job i had flip flops) but the room itself was far from spacious. Nevertheless the bed was very comfortable and the sounproofing was excellent. And what views! I was on a corner and had virws of mountains out if both - expecially...
