We finally got a number for emergencies and he gave us the code to the safe with our key. When we got to the place they had not prepared at all. The beds were not made, there was no soap or cleaning items to towels yet checkout required us to wash dishes. The electricity was also off so we had to find the electrical box. "The breakfast was very good. Close to town and to Gorge Verdon. Beautiful views. No place to sit in the lobby to have a glass of red wine. Only white wine allowed."

"Le Moulin de Chateau was an ideal location to stay during our trip through the Verdon area. The hotels in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie were booked, but Le Moulin turned out to be an even better option. The owner and staff were warm and welcoming, the dinner and breakfast they prepared were highest quality, and the room was spacious, clean, and cozy. Everything about our experience here was excellent and we would stay here again."

"Loved staying at this property. It has very few rooms so you will feel as if you have the entire property to yourself. The breakfast was made fresh and it was a great spread. It has a beautiful courtyard. The distance to the town center is 10 mins walk and there is a walkway from behind the hotel and goes up and meets the main road. "
