"Property was well situated for getting around Blois and surrounding areas. Disappointed on arrival after a long journey we couldn't have an evening meal as we were told we hadn't booked half board. "This hotel looks rather old from the outside, the reception area is in a 80's style, but this impression stops there. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is also very satisfactory. One of the best value for money I came accross in the last few years. The staff, took care of this for us at our arrival and we received our clean folded clothes the next day. "Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Suggestions for dinner were perfect. Breakfast, 9.5 euros, was outstanding. A large buffet of fresh choices. Excellent coffee. "We had a very nice stay , and we were upgraded to executive room which was lovely , unfortunately it looked out onto the main road which was being dug up and majorly overhauled and the noise from machinery until they stopped was rather loud . "Cleanliness is ok, hotel is a bit aged. BE CAREFUL of the hotel staff. On one of the days they told us it was not possible to get a taxi but they would arrange us one ..... 15 minutes later a illegal taxi turned up arranged by the hotel staff. We where taken to our destination in a old unsafe car, then charged double the amount !!!"

"Excellent property in a small village. Have stayed here three times & always a pleasure to do so. Dinner is expensive but very good quality - not much else nearby... so treat yourself! Breakfast is excellent - great choices, plenty to have. Maybe not as good as previously... but still very good. The onsite spa / pool is lovely... as are the gardens. If you are travelling north or south past Tours... this is a great place to stop!"
