"This is a really beautifully kept and charming pub hotel. We had a room on the 2nd floor (i believe) with a view of the street. As a 17th century building it does have slightly steep stairs and some quaint low doorframes. We stayed for one night but I'd be happy to stay there for more than that if I'm in the area again. The pictures of the room were accurate. It was warm in winter even though heating was off. It was well kept and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom brand new and very clean (the gents in the pub downstairs a slightly different story! But the pub itself was very nice). - Doors at the rear are left open should you want to come back in late at night. - Breakfast was a generous full English. - The room also had a kettle with some complementary tea and coffee sachets, and there was also a decent hair drier. - Parking might be a touch limited if you arrive at the wrong time as it seems to be shared with pub customers but you might he able to find somewhere nearby in a pinch. "

"We had a small double on the 2nd floor. Nb no lift. Room was newly decorated, newly carpeted and the bathroom suite had new tiling. Linen was of a good quality. Bar/restaurant was very busy but rooms were quiet and warm. At this price point and in the centre of Ely it was unbeatable. Nb the hotel car park was tiny but public parking in Ely is, free so we used a nearby car park. "

"Stayed here while visiting family. Good comfortable hotel and central location. We didn’t eat breakfast so can’t comment. But the staff were all friendly and helpful. Good parking. Room was spacious. "
