I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. "If you are expecting 5* luxury then this might not be the place for you. However if just a quick stopover it’s not too bad at all. The rooms are functional and I personally found the bed very comfortable. This is a basic room at a value price, if you are paying for a cheap room, then expect a cheap room. Personally it was fine both price wise and comfort wise and for an overnight stay I would use again. "

"I had booked this as a surprise for my husband. We arrived early so room was not ready. Checked in and was a bit disappointed as room was facing the car park. I had contacted the hotel prior to arrival as it was a surprise birthday pressie. However asked if there was any rooms with a view of the loch. "Absolutely amazing hotel. Unsure what the bad reviews are about as our stay was amazing. The room was up to date and very spacious, we loved the added touch of the toilet roll haha. The lady on reception was wonderful and so nice. We will definitely be back. "
