Chose this hotel for all of the above and AC. The AC did not work which made sleeping in July a challenge for these Americans used to that amenity. Even though, I would recommend this hotel for the charm, staff, location, and restaurant."

"Beautiful view from front terrace of hillside area and castle. Very nice and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious and hotel restaurant serves delicious meal at very reasonable prices. Original plan was an overnight stopover en route but we extended our stay to 3 days. Highly recommended."

"The property needs some improvement, especially on the bathroom side, and thee swimming pool even if 'fit for purpose' would need extra care; breakfast is particularly poor even if it is appreciated serving homemade cakes alongside croissants - improvements are needed in the egg preparation and related. With such improvements the property could certainly become a 3***Plus and be the better one around."
