"Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the valley - wonderful sunrise views. Property is well maintained and rooms/bathrooms well appointed. One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power...

"There were renovations taking place during our atay which made finding the building difficult to find as the hotel sign was covered. Make sure you don't show up early for check-in as the doors are locked during certain parts of the day and only accessible with a key you receive when checking in. These are just friendly warnings for a better visit. The hotel itself was charming, clean, and full of modern amenities. "Lovely hotel with restaurant and garden, brilliant on a hot evening. Nearby parking but only a few spaces. Annweiler is an unspoilt small German town with lots of nearby walks in Black Forrest. Hotel is simple, clean and in a lovely location in the centre of the old town."

"I can't say enough about Zur Linde. It is a beautiful charming hotel set in the most beautiful area of Germany. The hotel staff is wonderful - Christian who runs the hotel and also is the chef is great and his food is really good. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. "
