"Right at the beach, the Orni appartments are clean, and a bit away from the crazy cities dotting the Costa Brava. The host is friendly, and the rooms were clean and nice. "Plus - clean and bedroom/bathroom immaculate. Fridge /kettle. Good shower. Close to shops/restaurant. Good checking/out times. Parking on street and area safe. Close to beach. Not so good - late breakfast 09:15 Pay for private parking. Area itself is quiet. "

"La Grancha is a hotel in rural La Fresneda. The owners are lovely and welcoming. They speak little English so take a phrase book. The menu is in Spanish, we got help in translating from a fellow guest. The hotel is wonderfully rustic in this beautiful village."
