"Fantastic atmosphere and quality at dinner. A little more standard at breakfast. Poor English skills from the receptionist. She didn’t really understand that we had a problem in our room.(Our neighbor keep smoking in his bathroom, so our bathroom was also stinking of cigarettes) The pool area is very clean and nice to visit, but the traffic around is a little noisy."

"An interesting hotel with 70s-80s decore. A feeling of the past however with a view to the future with serious commitment to green credentials. A slow food restaurant extends the good feeling of solar power, and recycled papers in the bathrooms and dining rooms. The shower was a little small and flimsy but the water was good and hot and the heating was hydronic . Staff were excellent. Only a short walk from a beautiful town and the station. "Posto gradevole immerso nella natura, silenzioso e tranquillo .. a parte il condizionatore che era rumorosissimo e ha rovinato la quiete del luogo e reso meno piacevole il nostro soggiorno. Piscina pulita, colazione ok, stanza grande e confortevole. Suggerirei di cambiare il condizionatore che era davvero rumorosissimo se portato ad una temperatura inferiore ai 27 gradi … e di provvedere ad un filo fuori dalla finestra per appendere i costumi bagnati .. "

"Beautiful area! Most conditions were good. Other than that, not good at all. No blankets, soap, paper towels, only a half roll of toilet paper for 5 adults. Heating system did not work! Very moist in cabin left all our clothes damp. We could not have windows open to dry out air due to mosquitos. Would not book here again!"

"We had a great experience here. It was clean, with great staff, and had good complimentary breakfast every morning. What more can you ask for? It’s also in the heart of Prato, a fairly quiet community, with easy access to Florence. The train station is a 10 minute walk away. Pay 2.80 Euros for a one-way ticket from Prato Centrale to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. The trains back to Prato run pretty late as well, so you don’t have to worry about rushing back to the hotel. If we were to come back to Florence (and vicinity) I would definitely consider staying here again."

Breathtaking scenery and a lovely host

"I ended up here on accident while on a work trip. The hotel owner was so kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to help me resolve my error and showed the upmost kindness. I ended up staying for one night and having breakfast the next day. Breakfast was delicious, typical offerings of cheese, meats and pastries as well as fresh eggs and coffee. The grounds were breathtaking and serene. Green and quiet. The building was beautiful and the room was very spacious and had a kitchen and private dining area and fireplace. I hope to be able to come back to relax in this beautiful place. "
