"We stayed for the night of my 60th birthday and would definitely return if we are ever in Ullapool again. Kathleen was lovely, switching us to the downstairs room when she realised the stairs were a problem for me. Our room had a full size roll top bath which was heavenly. The bed was super comfortable and we both slept like babies. Kathleen was kind, friendly and knowledgeable about local restaurants and told us a little about the history of her beautiful home. "The setup is very good; the surrounding area, beaches, and Hermit's Castle are why we booked here for two nights. Unfortunately, the builders opposite decided to start work with a digger and heavy roller before 8 a.m., so our stay wasn't exactly peaceful. This was not the owner's fault, I should add. The pod was large and comfortable, but it really needs Starlink, as we couldn't use the internet on our phones. Some might find this acceptable, but others might not. Not being able to watch TV...
