"We loved it. Party of 7. Each cabin sleeps 8 but we had ti rent 2 cabins because they fine you TONS extra in fees for every person in your party over 4. So, it doesn’t make sense. But that was our only complaint. Loved the place. (Needed paper towels and a cookie sheet, but those are small things,)"

"This was a nice little community hotel. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Checkin was quick and easy. We ate dinner at the restaurant, and it was very good. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day. This is a great place to stay in a rather remote area."

"We stayed here for two nights so that we could do a glacier and ice cave hike, and a glacier lagoon boat trip at Jokulsarlon. The guesthouse was in an amazing setting close to the mountains. The cabins were clean and very comfortable. The included continental breakfast was excellent. It would have been nice if they'd offered a dinner option too, but the owner was able to recommend the restaurant at the nearby Hotel Smyrlabjorg. We ate there both nights and the food was amazing. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights both nights right from the porch outside our cabin. I would definitely recommend staying here if your are visiting the Jokulsarlon lagoon or doing the ring road."
