"Meersburg and the hotel were something of a revelation to us. Only there for an overnight stay but will certainly be back. Our room was pleasant, clean, seemingly recently refurbished, and very well appointed / designed / set out, with guests’ convenience in mind. "We had a great time. The apartment was just what we needed with 2 bedrooms. The staff was super friendly. The food at the resturant was excellent. I wish i got the server and chefs name, best meal in germany so far. We were able to walk down to a park a few blocks away to view the lake. I wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area. "

"We enjoyed our stay and although a little dated the room was a good size and the balcony was worth paying extra for. We had a ground floor room which was handy as we travel with our two mini dachshunds. Breakfast was ok, adequate and offered good seating areas. Parking was free and just outside the door. "

"What a beautiful area. We had a great stay here. Very comfortable bed, clean room, and snacks available. As soon as I made the reservation, I received a message from the hotel about checking in after hours. Do yourself a favor...don't wait until you're sitting in the parking lot at 9:00 pm, trying to get in, to translate the message. It all worked out, though, and we had a wonderful time. Lots of trails to explore. "

"We booked this for the good price and it ended up being a wonderful surprise. The kids area and the pool and Spa and rabbits and guinea pigs were all awesome. The room was tiny but comfortable and there was everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic. We decided to eat dinner there too and it was seriously so so good. I would definitely come here again. Also it was quiet even though it was full and had plenty of kids! "

"This was a very nice hotel with a wonderful breakfast. Unfortunately, the description on Expedia was inaccurate and caused us some inconvenience. The Expedia description was that the hotel had a 24/7 reception, however, when we arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm due to late train connections, no one was at the hotel. Luckily, the manager arrived and we were able to get into our room, but he also informed us that reception was only open until 10 pm. We had both emailed each other using the Expedia...

"There was nothing to dislike here. Everything was perfect. We decided we needed to walk so we went about a block where my husband’s favorite, sheinsoxen, was on the menu. This hotel is on the wine route in the Alsace region. A beautiful part of France that I would highly recommend giving it a day to visit the beautiful villages. The countryside is lovely too."

"Most significant complaint was the telephone and Internet service were down. During check-out, we were forced to pay by cash as their credit card machines were also not working. This is a significant issue. Very unpleasant situation to surprise guests by making them pay the full bill in cash without prior notice. Their systems were down at least 2 days. "
