"Funky hotel in a nice quiet location, yet only a few minutes walk from the beach and the main shopping area. Very good value. Breakfast was simple but with good quality items. Immaculately clean inside and out. Our only annoyance was the LCD controls for the sink - imagine coming back to your room and having to wait for the sink to boot up so you can wash your hands! A bit of a gimmick."

"Our flight was delayed leaving the UK, so everything was delayed. We knew the hotel reception was due to close at 23:00 and we thought we might be right up against it, so rang Hotel Los Arcos as soon as we had collected our bags to let them know the situation and again once we were on the road. "Really good value for money room was good size with a nice balcony looking over gardens to the sea. Very clean, nice linen ,good walk in shower , fridge and safe. Breakfast was included, and was better than expected, buffet style with good selection of hot and cold choices , plenty to eat. "We have just returned following a lovely long weekend in Nerja. 5 ladies travelled for a girls mini break. We had 2 bedrooms in Hotel Toboso Chaparil. A double and a triple room although the double also had 3 beds. The hotel is in a excellent location. Only a short stroll to beach and main town square/area. "We needed a quiet and calm week's holiday. The area was recommended to us and we found the hotel coincidentally. It was not peak season I gathered, which was a bonus as not many people around. I loved the terrace and reading room. if we go that area ever again, I will book the same hotel. "

"it was okay but when I was looking for a hotel in Nerva, this one popped up. So I booked. Little did I know it was not in Nerva but in Maro, so that was a little deceiving, had to change a few things right there, was of course no way to look for something in Nerva directly, so we stayed"

"Absolutely lovely stay, very comfortable room and bed, lovely private terrace, this is a rustic guesthouse with lovely elements, little courtyard, breakfast room, great self check in, plunge pool was sadly empty as we would have loved a dip as it was hot but I assume it's out of season. Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff. "

"Very clean and nicely appointed apartment Parking is an issue as it is a very busy spot . Being responsible for a rental vehicle and not having a preferred spot was concerning in this marina location. Wifi was very spotty, but communication with the host was excellent and every effort was made to restore Wi-Fi promptly.
