"For a budget hotel it was absolutely fine. Quite new still so not grotty. We were at end of corridor but others on floor were very noisy at all hours and sound travelled well! Basic but nice breakfast. Indonesian food and bread/toast with spreads."

"THIS was an especially fun hotel because we were able to walk ALMOST all the way around it after a HUGE dinner which was a RAMADAN special of all you can eat! for TEN bucks! all the local foods so you could taste them and know what you were ordering next time at a redstaurant. food dishes were names in the buffet! they also had some 4 wheelers you could ride in the ajacent lot and also some cool electric go karts for $3.00 for 15 minutes and they were really FAST! crazy for electric...

"The villa we booked was not available when we arrived. I had booked and paid months earlier and was extremely upset. The gave us a new duplex which smelt of cement and the shower flooded. The TV was not connected. We got the villa the next day and the TV channels were all Chinese channels. The floor was mopped with a dirty mop as you could see the marks on the bathroom floor. "I made a booking for a 3 night stay at Travello. Hotel service: We're served with melon drinks the moment we got in. Service was warm and friendly. The hotel staff remembered us clearly. We made a request for a high storey room and the hotel staff aceeded to our request. Hotel condition: There were basic "must-have" in the room, like a flat screen TV, a study desk, open wardrobe, a mini bar with a water booiler, a safe and a private toilet. "Ik kreeg een rook kamer met blinde muren. Geen ramen. Na 2 nachten kreeg ik op eigen verzoek een rook vrije kamer met uitzicht op zee. Geen extra kosten voor deze upgrade te betalen. Het ontbijt was goed en de bediening prima. Bij check out vanochtend ontbijtje mee gekregen ivm het vroege tijdstip om 5 uur am. "

"We had the king bed with partial sea view on the 6th floor. Check in was flawless because they allowed us to store our luggage before 2pm. They took our luggages to the room and gave us the key when we got there late in the evening. The room is spacious with extra day bed by the big window. When we woke up in the AM and let the sun in then we spotted the dirtiness in the room. "Room was clean and comfortable, with a good bathroom, but a view only to the building wall next door. Breakfast was disappointing and not very appetising. Dinner was ok but misswording of the offer available at the time meant too much food was brought and we were overcharged, though the staff were kind enough to correct this after some explaining. The wifi stopped working unfortunately. The location was good for the immigration office but otherwise a long walk or taxi ride to the centre."

"Dirty hotel, bathroom wasn’t cleaned. Made reservation on information omexpedia website. It said: 1,2 km from the airport,it was located in de centre. So extra costs for taxi and much earlier to get up for the early flight."

GO CARTS to drive at a hotel?!

"THIS was an especially fun hotel because we were able to walk ALMOST all the way around it after a HUGE dinner which was a RAMADAN special of all you can eat! for TEN bucks! all the local foods so you could taste them and know what you were ordering next time at a redstaurant. food dishes were names in the buffet! they also had some 4 wheelers you could ride in the ajacent lot and also some cool electric go karts for $3.00 for 15 minutes and they were really FAST! crazy for electric scooters, and the guys were so nice that tended the go carts and let us take a spin around for free to make sure we would fit on them, and we were amazed that the go carts were adjustable because we are fat americans. gotta go to the buffet now!"
