We were met at the gate and given a tour of the house and grounds and shown the many amazing antiques and the unique salons. It was a delight to be here, but there are a couple of things to be aware of when planning a stay. Apart from a lovely breakfast, there is no food available. There are some bars and Cafes in nearby villages, but it might be difficult to find places outside weekends. This...

I am particularly grateful to Ianire on reception who, as well has explaining all hiking options and food options around town was particularly helpful with sorting out documents I needed after having had my passport stolen in Barcelona. "Decent hotel for the price. It was for pensioners. Surprised that there was no A/C. It wasn't too bad the night we were there. The bed was too soft. Reception was nice to change our room to a double bed from 2 twins. As a result, we got a nice upgrade to a room with a living room. Breakfast was o.k."
