"Beautiful old world hotel"

"This inpromptu stay, while travelling home, was a really pleasant experience. The food in the restaurant was amazing, the room was massive and we even had a jacuzzi style bath! Staff could have not been more helpful and even made a pretty good cup of tea for my wife on the morning of her birthday! (We are from the UK and good tea is hard to come by). We loved the hotel, really can't recommend highly enough."

"We had a very comfortable stay here, with a clean and spacious room. The saunas are great along with a nice relaxation area. We dined in the hotel as the weather was bad outside with snow and ice. The wait for the food was a little long as we unfortunately arrived in the restaurant just after a couple of groups. However,. when it did come the food was very good. "At two occasions, I sent emails to the property asking simple questions, such as whether I'd need an extension cord to hook up my CPAP machine. Although I wrote in perfect French, on both occasions, my e-mails were ignored. I found this so rude, I almost cancelled my reservation for another property. I'm glad I didn't, because the property is pleasant and quiet, and their superior rooms are quite comfortable. Breakfasts are decent (I was offered scrambled eggs the 2nd, but not the first day)....

"Overall understaffed. The food in the restaurant was not the best but good portions. Order-taking and service took long due to short staff. Walls were very thin and all of the doors closed with a large slam, making it very sleep-disruptive in the morning and night. The shower door of my room was broken. The reception staff was friendly and sincere but there is only so much one person can pull. Needs more staff. "
