Driving in winter also was not a problem at all. All roads are well maintained with good access to all the highlights around kuusamo and Ruka. Will book again."

"We stayed 3 nights at the end of May 2023 and were there to participate in the NUTS Karhunkierros ultra Trail event. The apartment was cosy, clean and calm. The only thing the owner should consider is adding some light-blocking curtains to the bedrooms. There is no night in Ruka at this time of the year and it’s very difficult to get a good sleep in a bedroom with daylight conditions. Otherwise all good."

We were resourceful and opened the big window which people usually only open to clean and that way we had tons of chilled air during the night. besides that, breakfast was simple yet tasty, generous and enough to satisfy your needs. the staff was helpful and friendly. the atmosphere is quiet and the view to the lake was astonishing!
