Coming from the US and corporate hotels, I found it refreshing to have ABC's fresh- cooked eggs, pastries, and breads rather than cellophane wrapped food. Same too with the hotel staff, real hardworking people doing their jobs and not the corporate avatars found in the big chain hotels."

"Hotel is close to the train station and the harbour. Some staff were helpful, others less so. Even though the hotel was apparently recently renovated, it gives the feeling of being run-down - there were holes in the bathroom floor towel, the fittings on the shower pipes were loose, the toilet was installed skew with the toilet paper holder not properly fixed and hanging skew. The fitting for the hand shower was at waist height, meaning the only way to get a proper shower was to hold it above...

"The resort is peaceful. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast was good and had many options. Dinner was also good. The bathroom was extremely small and shower was tiny and did not have a door so water went everywhere. You can rent a car very cheap at the hotel. The shampoo and body wash provided was not the best, but did the job. I recommend this place and will stay next time I visit. "
