"We ended up with an 80 Euro parking fine because the staff didn't have enough sense to tell us how the parking lot in back of the hotel worked (what the rules were). For the sake of having parked 12 minutes "early" before 6 PM on Friday night, we ended up with an 80 Euro fine even though we moved our car by 9 AM and leave on Saturday, as we were instructed to do. Hotels should either provide guest parking, or else clearly instruct guests as to the necessary procedures."

"Top place. I had a triple room to myself. Quiet. Comfortable and close to some good bars. Quite a walk to the beach and Old Town but Gijón bike's make it a cinch. Only possi le downside is that they have no air con. "

We had driven through awesome mountain scenery and arrived at the hotel to be greeted by George (can't spell the Spanish version) who gave us a history of the area. The rooms were simple but very comfortable, with a bed that we didn't want to get out of! There were 6 rooms in an outside block, each with a small patio area and chairs and a mountain view. "Took a bit of finding, directions could be more specific. Fairly obscure turn off main Rd. However once found, easy peasy. Staff really friendly and so helpfull. Would certainly stat there again. In fact we have spoken about a return visit."
