"Im a sucker for historic buildings and the Fallon is just that. Its not for everyone. The building is under renovation and i hope to see more good things from the owners. Its a 1850 build and a historic marker, which means i expected rugged walls and old wood floors. My bedding was clean and probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds Ive ever slept on. The room was basic, bed, chair and foot stool, dresser, and tv. Bathroom has the old victorian vibe, however may be challenging for elderly...

"Classic old charm....and I mean lots and loads of charm. Decent free breakfast and on site dinning. In center of village so walking about is a must. We visited to view the stars at Cherry Springs which is 45 minutes away. The rooms are small compared to most hotels and our bed was a bit soft for me but just right for my partner. I will gladly take a smaller room just to stay at this hotel. The staff is soo friendly and helpful for directions and recommendations. Place gets a 10 ."
