"This place was probably awesome when it was built. The pool area is definitely a bit dated, but my kids loved it and thought it was the best. I like that the sauna is in the pool area. And the pool was surprisingly warm. Our room on the 14th floor was exactly as expected, the view was great. I don’t understand the big deal about the parking garage in a lot of the reviews. "The breakfast was a nice change. They had quite a bit to offer. Most places aren't that way these days. The price i got off of here was far cheaper then calling them directly. The only 2 complaints i can offer is the toilet wouldn't flush properly so it kept running all night. An the beds were too hard."

"My husband and I came for a two-night trip to celebrate our December anniversary. The room was far less expensive than the hotels at Canal Park, but we were still within walking distance of Canal Park and Bentleyville. The room was large and beautifully decorated (yellow is my favorite color!). We live in an old farmhouse, so we love buildings with character. My ONLY complaint is that the bed was NOT comfortable and I slept horribly both nights (and a box of tissues would have been nice). Other...

"We beought our family including dogs. There was beautiful wood behind hotel to walk them while still be close to restaurants and a grocery store. Pool was wonderful. Staff was super accommodating and friendly. "

"Extremely icy driveway and walkway. Was dark and not lit the best. The shower head flew off the shower too. They had said they’d send maintenance for that and the walkways but didn’t. The place was absolutely beautiful. The room and bed were fantastic. I would still go again"

"Cute and cozy. Very clean and updated. Perfect view. Small beds that maybe could use a memory foam topper so you don’t roll to the middle. Great price for this 2 bedroom 2 bath villa. We would come here again. "

"This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely.
