Welcome from owner's adult children was 'functional' rather than warm (once again not as had expected from reviews). Return of owners on morning of our departure resulted in significant improvement in atmosphere - shame we arrived when owners were away! several very reasonable restaurants within walking distance"

"Lovely hotel in the Santa Cruz area, convenient to many of the local wineries. The majority staff were not as attentive and 'on the ball' as others we encountered in Chile, but we still had a lovely stay. The pool area was a lovely space to chill out and it was always very quiet. The breakfasts were good, but the other meals were 'below par', I wouldn't suggest planning to eat your main meals at the hotel."
