"This place is a treasure. My room was fantastic. The staff was great, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. An incredible value in Italy. That night I went to the piazza where the mineral waters issue forth and enjoyed the night life, speaking with locals in my "rotto Italiano"."

"Savignione is a quaint and adorable town 20 minutes by car from Genoa. We spent 4 days here and thoroughly enjoyed the sweet mountain air and the friendliness of the people. Not only Claudia and her husband are wonderful, efficient, friendly, and multilingual, but they also run a tight ship. We felt so at home in this place.The place is a short walk from the town piazza where you can leave/park your car. There is a newly opened pizzeria and Mike’s taverna are great places for dinner. "

"Nice location if traveling by car. The Pension is near the highway. It doesn't have Air Conditioning but the tall rooms and natural cooling work. Staff is very helpful and friendly which makes your stay very cosy. "

"This was a last minute booking, while driving on a freeway towards Milan, literally an hour before check in. But what a nice surprise! Excellent hotel, spacious restaurant/ bar which was still open at this late hour, and the man at the reception was so nice, and gave us an extra room complimentary, realizing there were 5 of us, and we'd be crowded in 1 room. "Hôtel... d’un autre temps mais qui saura charmer ceux qui aiment le ‘vintage’. Malheureusement très bruyant surtout le samedi soir si votre chambre donne sur le bar couvert extérieur ! "I got to the train station at 6pm. There were no taxis. I called the hotel. The person who answered spoke Italian only. He gave me a number of a taxi station, which wasn't available. I ended up walking 1h20m in the cold, dark weather, sometimes with no side walks. I think he should've connected me to another employee, who speaks English, and figure out a solution.
