"Et okay hotel, men det lå langt fra Chiang Rai’s centrum… ca. 9 km. Hotellet havde vist lige skiftet ejer, så indtjekningen var temmelig forvirrende og til at starte med, fik vi ikke den opgradering som vi havde betalt for. Der var ingen restaurant på hotellet og heller ikke nogen lige i nærheden."

"This was just an overnight stay in the provincial capital to meet friends for dinner and hang out a bit, as our home is about 30km away from town. The hotel is decent, a bit dated in design and décor but clean and like most Phayao hotels very inexpensive by Western standards. There are shops and a few small restaurants in the immediate area, and the Kwan Phayao lakefront is almost walking distance, though we didn't go to the lake as recent flooding in the area meant some restaurants were closed....

"Basic motel style but no twin rooms, the price at the place was 600baht for a single and 1200 for a double so we asked to change to 2 singles, which caused mayhem and we kept being put on the phone to someone who spoke English but still said we’d have to pay extra, eventually the lady took us to a suitable room but no top sheets and the bedcover was filthy. The shower was great though and bathroom clean, no bedside lights."
