"We had an excellent stay. Access to the sauna is private and bookable and was such a peaceful space to relax. Only 3 minutes walk from the shopping mall but in a quiet street. Plenty of parking on site. We really enjoyed our stay. "

We also loved the restaurant - the chef’s seasonal specials were scrumptious and the service was perfect. It’s a great place to stay - the staff were really helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We’ll be back! "

"Booked a room listing air conditioning, then was given a room with no AC during peak summer. Complained but was told the hotel had no AC; yet the next day we were told it does have AC but no room with AC was available. The information given by reception was therefore misleading, and we should have been given a discount to reflect the reduced facilities. The Expedia listing is also misleading. "

"Hotel Hugo is a nice, clean, quiet, interesting hotel. While the rooms are very modern, the exterior is very old because it was formerly a hospital, and renovations are ongoing in some parts. The grounds are lovely, and the restaurant is both convenient and inexpensive. I'd definitely stay here again."
