The property sits right on a lake at the mouth of the river that runs right into the Mayan ruin of Lamanai one of the most beautiful ruins there is. It’s very quiet at night and very peaceful. "Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. When I finally received a bicycle the tires were deflated and seat was too low (needed a wrench), and there was no lock. So the bicycle did not work out.
