"Had a great week in st Croix! The hotel on the cay was exactly as described in the reviews. Beautiful beach with beach bar and an excellent location next to the Christiansted boardwalk! The hotel is in disrepair and poorly maintained, which is why the nighty rates are low. If you can live with your room having issues (our AC went down), then it’s a great location at a discount."

"This resort was great for the most part. Good value for sure! Beds were hard to sleep on, even bruised my hip. Hot tub was not even warm. Food was good, not particularly great. We did have a good time here. And would go back. Drinks were amazing! Definitely rent a car. "

"We loved staying at Fred. Took us a while to understand the slow paced culture of St Croix … a nice change from the fast paced craziness of our home in Washington DC. While there were a few hiccups during our stay - such as no towels; being ignored by staff at bar; etc - the Fred after we complained made things right. Thanks, Fred, for an incredible stay on St Croix. We will stay there again."

"We just returned yesterday from a perfect 5 day stay. We were continuously greeted by wonderful front desk staff who always made us feel welcome, and feel at home. From morning one, we started to meet other guests, some who come back every year, and it immediately starts to feel like a little community.
