"We've stopped here a number of times. The location suits us. The staff are welcoming and happy to assist with anything we ask about. Great views of the lake from our room. Mt Ruapehu can be seen in the distance on a clear day."

"The place is fairly run down, but I understand new owners have just taken over. The reason we booked here is because it is pet friendly. A lot of motels in Taupo are not. We were only there to sleep, so on the whole the experience was not too bad. The place does some potential to be tidied up."

"The room was fantastic with plenty of parking. The only downside, which really wasnt too bad at all was that the bed was a little uncomfortable and the pillows were very uncomfortable and hard. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay."
