"The Ballymac is a lovely hotel in a quiet, rural location. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was very warm though, even when I tried to turn down the heater. The staff were very polite and attentive. However, they were absent at times at the reception. Not a huge issue except if you need to speak to someone about getting a table at the restaurant for instance. The food in the restaurant was quite exceptional and prices were fair. Food arrived promptly when ordered and it tasted...

"The only thing i could complain about was the breakfast, i arrived at approx. 9am and all the traus of hot food were almost empty, they did bring fresh food but it was cold or lukewarm, however i enjoyed the fresh fruit salad and cereal. Everything else was excellent at the hotel, staff and facilities were great "

Room had everything that was expected inc iron and ironing board, trouser press. I don't recall a hairdryer but would be surprised if there wasn't one."

"We had a x1 night stay here. We had a fantastic stay! William at reception was absolutely amazing – Very accomadating and professional, from giving us handy car park tips and tricks to quickly sorting out the aircon in our room, nothing was too much trouble. He also recommended coming down to enjoy the local music, which really added to our trip. The bed was super comfortable, and the TV in the room was massive! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the shops, which made everything so...

"We had a quiet very comfortable stay. The room was spacious and well heated and the bed was extremely comfortable with great pillows (had all the most important things for a restful night). We could even have hot chocolate in the room to round off the night. "

Know my parents would have loved a fry but they overall LOVED their stay and definitely will be staying again. They loved the area outside for bbq and drinks and will be back to make use of this for definite"

Location is great, amenities like Tesco, McDonalds are literally opposite. Town is just a couple of minutes walk away."
