"The room smelt of cigarette smoke and it was obviously a know issues as the window had been open as the room temperature was the same as out side. Other than that the staff were amazing and made my visit a pleasure. Warm smiles and welcoming whenever I passed, Even before I informed them of my problem. The manager should congratulate the staff on their customer service. "

"Just what we wanted after a long day travelling. Tea\coffee making facilities in room would have been nice but otherwise all was great including restaurant. Would certainly go again. It was the cleanest hotel we stayed in during a week of travelling around"

"A great place for an overnight stop. The room was basic but very clean which is all we wanted. There is a restaurant next door to the hotel where we enjoyed an evening meal. The staff were very friendly."

"Wifi didn't work in our room. 14 oC this morning, but no heating available. Meal very disappointing. 3 /5 lights didn't work in bedroom. It was tired and needed TLC to improve it. Arrival time was 3 pm, but no one around at 3.30. Then reception closed again until 5 pm, so no help available. We won't be back. "

"The château itself is a beautiful building. The room we were in, a comfort room, was perfectly fine. Bed was comfy and wide. Breakfast was OK, lovely fresh croissants, but expensive for what it was. "

"Hotel très austère (très sombre, bordélique...) Après pas mal d'attente, l'accueil est glacial! Je traverse le restaurant lumière éteinte, pas de personnel ni client (bref je pars manger en ville) alors qu'il est ouvert depuis trente minutes Salle de petit dejeuner : lumière éteinte, buffet misérable avec juste quelques baguettes (je repars de nouveau pour manger à l'exterieur) Accès entre l'accueil et les chambres fermés le soir m'obligeant le matin a passer par l'exterieur pour le dejeuner......

"The meal choice was very limited but in December with only one other couple staying at the hotel this was hardly surprising. Communal areas and the bedroom need decorating and updating but the room was warm, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and in that respect it was "value for money""
