"Nice hotel in an excellent location. There's a tram stop immediately outside, the main train station is about a 5 minute walk away and it's only a 10 min walk to the harbour / Allas Spa. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Arthur. While this property is older, everything we saw was clean and well maintained. The room was smaller, but big enough for the two of us. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good, with options familiar to Europeans, Brits and North Americans. The Karelian pastries with egg butter were a fantastic find. And the location is ideal. If you are here to see Helsinki, on your own dime, this is an excellent place...

"The room was rather chilly, and cranking up the thermostat did not help a lot. It was also rather noisy, both from outside (I could hear my neighbors) and inside (something was buzzing all night, air conditioning?). The room was small, but quite functional (I enjoyed the light switches just by the bed). It is a good hotel for overnight business stay. The staff at the reception was very friendly, and they have a small shopping corner by the reception in case you need water, snacks or other...
