"Great hotel, super central and perfect for a late arrival earlier departure. Lovely room overlooking the opera house and sea. Its based in an old very long building and we were a long way from the lift might be a problem for some. Excellent breakfast and very attentive staff. Bigger towels would make it a perfect stay. Highly recommend "

"Good quality hotel in an excellent location for Oslo city centre and all that is on offer. It was a little strange that the check-in desk is also the bar! Further, there were times when the staff were busy elsewhere meaning both check-in and bar were unattended which was not completely satisfactory. However, all the staff were excellent and helpful. The hotel itself has character and the rooms and communal areas were clean & tidy. Breakfast was good with a varied choice of hot and cold food....

"Bob W’s place in Oslo was perfect. The rooms were very spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable and much needed after exploring all day. The toiletries supplied smelt so amazing I didn’t even use my own! The location couldn’t have been any better it was the perfect base for our one night stay. The keyless entry to rooms and the building were faultless. "

"A nice hotel very convenient for all Oslo has to offer. Close to train station and other transport options. Breakfast was very busy at the weekends and queues were a result. The food could have been much hotter. I would not expect to pay extra to access the pool in a five star hotel. Room service was very quick and the food tasty."

"Everything was good just the rooms are quite small with kids. Hotel and receptionist are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely only problem was to find table even we booked a slot to avoid the crowd. But overall was good holiday. "

When we reported this to reception we were told that it was because our room was too far from reception and advised to stay in the lobby if we needed to use the hotels WiFi "

"The staff and property were wonderful. Very convenient location. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or a source of white noise, the neighbourhood gets loud on a Thursday/Friday night due to a nearby club."
